I find 2 types of budget travelers, one who ‘says’ that they are doing budget traveling and one who ‘actually’ does budget traveling. The former ones be like ‘Bhaiyya, American Peach Yoghurt’s’ dena, spoon ke sath, oh ma gaad I can do budget traveling’ and later ones be like ‘2 vada pav laga, mirchi alag se’. So this blog is for the latter one.
If you are booking online, you will definitely be charged more because ‘yahi vidhi ka vidhaan hai’ (its the universal rule). Whenever I travel I try to stay near Railway Station because they are cheap, like dirt cheap. Reason being, they have too much of competition around and they are not present online. A decent hotel, not ‘Hotel Decent’, should not cost you more than ₹500. Agreed that they won’t give you the “OYO” room feels, but good enough to spend your 8 hrs here. I have been to so many places, these guys really make an effort to help you with anything and everything and they are very generous in nature too. Even if you give ₹50 tip to them, they will go to the last mile to help you out.
So next time you planning on any destination, do try this trick, it will be cheaper for you and helpful for them as well. Certainly a WIN – WIN situation.
Thank you for the minute 🙂
